Just returned from a week of bliss at the Résidence Goélia La Marina de Talaris, where my family and I immersed ourselves in the serene beauty of the pine forest. Nestled among the trees, each cabin offers a peaceful retreat complete with a private terrace, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee in the fresh air. While the charm of the area is undeniable, there were a few hiccups with the check-in and cleanliness, so be prepared for a bit of an adventure in locating the reception. Once settled, we truly embraced the surrounding nature, cycling along the well-marked paths to the stunning Lacanau Ocean – what an exhilarating experience! Although on-site activities are limited, the three outdoor pools provided a lovely way to cool off after a day of exploration. For those who enjoy kayaking or surfing, the nearby lake and Atlantic Coast are a treat, solidifying Lacanau’s reputation as a nature lover's paradise. This charming complex is an ideal family getaway for those looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature, just remember to pack your own essentials and bring plenty of snacks, as dining options are scarce onsite. I’m already dreaming of our next visit!
